Miss Adventure

Miss Adventure is a 1940s-era superheroine who gained some mystical-artifact-thingie that gave her super-powers. The artifact left her somewhat-ageless, to the point where in modern times she only looks like she's in her forties. And because I have a MILF fetish, she's a bit amorous and a "serial monogamist", preferring to attach herself to young male superheroes as a "partner" (*wink wink*). This makes her somewhat notorious in the super-community, with the guys all like "HELLZ YEAH!" and the women being a combination of "You GO, girl!" and "UGH- what a cougar!"

Also, remind me never to try to color an image like this with markers again. Normally "coloring between the lines" is a pretty basic skin, and pretty easy. But here? "Okay, blue blue blue blue  blue OH SHIT there's the star and I'm dangerously close to it!" This kept happening- ink going outside the lines, or way too close for comfort. 

Visually, I had a LOT of different ideas for how I wanted her to look- early versions back ten years ago had more of a "Liberty Belle" look, with a full-face mask and a puffy shirt. One version even kept the jodhpurs (which I find hot for some reason, because I'm weird). Then it suddenly hit me that a character I'd created for a webcomic I never ended up doing would be PERFECT- I had a whole "cougar trainee" concept going, but didn't marry the two character concepts together until just a couple of weeks ago. So she has the exact face & body-type of that character (who just ended up being a character I drew naked a bunch of times), but with a new outfit.

I was going a lot of different ways with the color scheme, as this was the one I wanted from the beginning, but it's also the most "Female Captain America"-like of the lot. The others looked OKAY... but this really was the best (Simon & Kirby knew what they were doing). Presumably the crotch-part of it wouldn't have been as high-cut in the '40s, but this is one "modern" old lady .
